Job Summary
Build strong, trusting relationships with adult day care participants, caregivers, and center staff while educating them about psychiatric, therapy, and behavioral health services. Serve as a welcoming resource to encourage participation in mental health care and facilitate referrals for individuals who may benefit from behavioral health support. Provide Spanish-English interpretation and translation during therapy and psychiatric appointments, assist with appointment coordination, and maintain accurate records of interactions and outreach activities in compliance with HIPAA. Travel to assigned centers across New Jersey to represent Mindify professionally and foster collaborative partnerships with center administrators and staff. Deliver occasional group presentations to over 60 participants and participate in community outreach to reduce barriers to care.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Strong public speaking and presentation abilities
- Passion for working with seniors and diverse communities
- Ability to build trust and create meaningful connections with patients and families
- Comfortable engaging with individuals one-on-one as well as in group settings
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel throughout New Jersey
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and electronic systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in patient advocacy, patient services, healthcare, behavioral health, social services, senior services, community outreach, customer service, or a related field
- Experience working with older adults and underserved populations
- Experience coordinating care or supporting patients in navigating healthcare services
