Job Summary
As the Community Experience Coordinator, you will be the on-site connection between the Urban Ecology Center and visitors to the branch and park, delivering exceptional customer service and guiding visitors through experiences and opportunities in the branch and surrounding spaces. You will manage intake, support program registration, serve as the communications expert for public and private programs, volunteer opportunities, and facility rentals, and handle data management and reporting. You will help ensure public spaces are well-stocked and welcoming, coordinate with volunteers and staff, maintain effective written and oral communications, and contribute to safety and wayfinding materials. The role requires bilingual Spanish and English proficiency, at least 3 years of professional experience, a preferred associate degree or equivalent, First Aid/CPR certification, and strong collaboration and organizational skills to support community engagement and equitable access to programs and resources at the Milwaukee branch in Menomonee Valley.
