Job Summary
The primary role of the Bilingual Clinical Pharmacist - Client Advisor involves developing, managing, and delivering pharmacy benefit management services and programs, while collaborating with the Account Management team to build and maintain client relationships. Key responsibilities include providing clinical expertise on drug formulary and trends, leading the Prior Authorization program, and ensuring documentation accuracy. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, a provincial license, bilingualism in English and French, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience in patient care. Strong interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills are crucial for success in this role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
- License to practice pharmacy in a province of Canada
- Bilingualism (English/French)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct patient care, drug evaluation, and/or drug information activities
- Knowledge and experience in private/public drug plan reimbursement
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective facilitation and presentation skills
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a dynamic fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational skills, proactive and solution-oriented
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite of tools
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in specialized areas such as Neurology, Multiple Sclerosis, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Diseases, Oncology
- Experience in drug database management
Additional Requirements
- Successful completion of reference checks and background verification
- Obtaining and maintaining a federal government security clearance for some positions
