Bilingual Classroom Assistant (Spanish Speaking) for a Montessori public charter school in Washington, DC. The role supports Montessori practice in a Dual-Language (Spanish/English) environment for Children’s House PK3-K and Lower Elementary (grades 1-3). Responsibilities include preparing the classroom, managing flow, helping children resolve conflicts, serving as a role model in speech/tone/demeanor, recording children’s work and interactions, assisting with nap/lunch, supervising recess, supporting dismissal, cleaning, and toileting. Qualifications include fluent Spanish (native preferred), a strong interest in Montessori education, teamwork, problem-solving orientation, and a desire for a long-term position; education and experience requirements include 2-5 preschool experience preferred, CDA training preferred, and a Bachelor's degree preferred.
