Job Summary
Coordinate case management services for children in care by conducting on-site admission interviews, sponsor vetting, and weekly updates to youth and families. Maintain active caseloads of up to eight cases while ensuring timely assessments, referrals to external providers, and safe, timely release from ORR care. Drive children to appointments and transport youth domestically or internationally for reunification, ensuring all documentation is uploaded to ORR's UC Portal and physical files remain compliant. Act as a liaison with foster parents and legal service providers, reporting significant incidents and participating in continuous quality improvement activities. Work flexible on-call schedules including weekends and evenings to facilitate program services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in the behavioral sciences, human services or social services fields
- Fluency in Spanish
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 bodily liability coverage
- 21 years of age
- Valid state driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Good driving record
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services, including working on call schedules which includes weekends and evenings
- Must be able to work 8 UC cases with minimal supervision
- Ensure the proper supervision of youth at all times
- Ability to travel frequently and drive vehicle while sitting for extended periods
