Job Summary

Conduct on-site admission interviews and vet sponsors for youth in care, ensuring all assessments are completed within ORR timeframes. Lead pre-staffing processes with multidisciplinary teams and coordinate weekly treatment meetings. Facilitate attorney-client contacts, transport youth to court appointments, and drive children for program services. Document progress notes, manage UC Portal uploads, and submit reunification packets for timely release. Provide weekly face-to-face updates to youth and telephonic contacts to family members. Act as the primary case point of contact for Federal Field Specialists and coordinate significant incident reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Counseling or other social service field
  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Cleared Level II background check from appropriate entity
  • Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
  • First Aid Certification (CPR)
  • Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 bodily liability coverage
  • 21 years of age
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Reliable personal vehicle
  • Good driving record
  • Ability to obtain Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification and First Aid Certification (CPR)
  • Must be able to supervise clients indoors and outdoors as necessary
  • Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
  • Must be able to work 8 UC cases with minimal supervision
  • Must assist in the evacuation of youth as needed due to inclement weather conditions, natural disasters, or other unforeseen occurrences
  • Ability to travel frequently and drive vehicle while sitting for extended periods
  • Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to facilitate program services, including working on call schedules which includes weekends and evenings
  • Must demonstrate a sincere commitment to service and advocacy for youth and families
  • Ensure the proper supervision of youth at all times
  • Capacity to remain objective and professional in all areas of job function
  • Demonstrates tolerance and respect for the ideas and actions of others
