Job Summary
Perform administrative and document support for program staff, including maintaining records data per ORR and NYAP policies, completing records requests, and uploading documentation to the UC Portal and Evolv system. Support case management efforts during unification and reunification by assisting with searches, background checks, and intake/discharge packages, while coordinating legal service provider presentations and travel for children and staff. Maintain daily ongoing support for foster parent licensing and clinical teams, ensuring timely completion of Verification of Release changes and required intake documentation. Work alongside the case management team to adhere to 7 Day Case Management policy requirements, utilizing proficiency in desktop technology and database programs. Maintain a flexible, organized schedule capable of extended hours and weekends, demonstrating high-level confidentiality and deadline-driven execution.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 4-year degree preferred
- Understand ORR Policies and Procedures
- Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smartphones and tablets, printers, fax machines, and photocopiers, as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet, and database programs
- Bilingual (English Spanish)
- Fluency in Spanish
- Minimum automobile insurance coverage of $100,000/300,000 bodily liability coverage
- 21 years of age
- valid state driver's license

- Ability to prioritize work and be a deadline-driven self-starter capable of juggling multiple priorities at once and executing each to completion despite obstacles
- Demonstrated ability to service a diverse group of clients

- Proven experience and high level of comfortability operating technology and learning new software applications
- Ability to travel frequently and drive vehicle while sitting for extended periods, with frequency varying based on program demands
- Use of manual dexterity, tactile, visual, and audio acuity
- Use of repetitive motion, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and sustained visual and mental applications and demands
- Occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds), bending, pulling, and carrying
