Job Summary
Enroll new participants through outreach and frequent communication with referral agencies, then assist them in goal setting, career planning, and job readiness training. Escort participants to interviews, facilitate the hiring process, and provide post-placement follow-up with both participants and employers. Actively develop and maintain relationships with local businesses and key stakeholders to secure employment and training opportunities. Establish, track, and meet program dashboard indicators for enrollments, placements, and retention while maintaining accurate records in databases.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Human Services, Business Administration or related field
- 1-3 years of experience in workforce development or related field
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience working with individuals with barriers to employment
- Experience in marketing and outreach
- Knowledge of refugee or immigrant services, Department of Transitional Assistance programs, community resources, and web-based resources
- Bilingual or additional language proficiency preferred, especially in languages spoken by refugee and immigrant participants (i.e. Dari, Pashto, Farsi, Spanish, Haitian Creole, Arabic, French, Somali, Portuguese)
- Bilingual Career Coach - (Bilingual Ukrainian/Russian)
