Job Summary
Assist customers in person and over the phone by determining needs and presenting appropriate paint products and services. Process sales transactions accurately, maintain precise work order files, and tint and mix products to customer specifications. Clean store equipment and assist with deliveries as needed. Remain knowledgeable on product features to suggest ways to improve sales and resolve customer concerns promptly. This full-time role at Store #721085 in Rochester, MN, offers a starting pay of $18.30 with comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans. Candidates must be bilingual in English and Spanish, legally authorized to work without sponsorship, and able to lift up to 70 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- At least eighteen (18) years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
- Ability to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
- Willingness to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams, at least a 'meets expectations' (3) rating on most recent performance appraisal
- If internal to Sherwin-Williams, completion of all HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position
Desired Qualifications
- Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
- At least a High School diploma or GED
- At least one (1) year of experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
- Previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
- Previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
