Bilingual Behavioral Technician (Union County) – $300 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary
Provide non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Responsibilities include implementing strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies to manage behavioral concerns, submitting visit notes promptly, responding to crises with de-escalation and safety procedures, engaging clients in growth-oriented activities, attending case reviews and required trainings, and following all agency protocols. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. with no visa sponsorship, obtain NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months, pursue RBT certification within 6 months (or meet equivalent experience/education pathways), maintain a valid NJ driver’s license, and pass background checks and a drug screen. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged. The role offers evenings with flexible hours (5–20 hours per week, 2–4 hour shifts) and a $300 sign-on bonus; opportunities for professional growth and a supportive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Active New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines (RBT or relevant degree with supervised experience)
