Bilingual Behavioral Technician (Passaic County, NJ) - $300 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary
Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Implement strategies outlined in each child’s Individual Support Plan, conduct functional assessments including Activities of Daily Living, and use redirection to manage behavioral concerns. Submit visit notes promptly and respond to crises using de-escalation and safety strategies. Engage clients in activities to support growth and awareness; participate in case reviews, team meetings, and required trainings. Requires active listening, empathy, and strong communication; must be able to work independently and collaboratively. Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged. The role may involve evenings with shifts described as 2–4 hours, 5–20 hours per week, and a sign-on bonus of $300.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role.

- Experience with developmental and intellectual disabilities (supervised experience paths if applicable)
- Strong active listening and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual capabilities preferred
- Ability to implement behavior support plans and conduct functional assessments
