Job Summary
Bilingual Behavioral Technician providing non-physical emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings in Ocean County, NJ. Responsibilities include implementing individual support plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), applying redirection and de-escalation strategies, submitting visit notes, attending case reviews and trainings, and engaging clients in activities to promote growth. Strong emphasis on active listening, empathy, teamwork, and adherence to agency protocols; Spanish-speaking candidates are encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: RBT with supervised experience OR Bachelor's in related field with supervised experience OR High School Diploma/GED with three years of supervised experience
