Job Summary
Bilingual Behavioral Technician providing non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Responsibilities include implementing Individual Support Plans and ADLs, de-escalation during crises, maintaining timely visit notes, engaging clients through activity-based support, attending case reviews and trainings, and adhering to agency protocols. Requires Spanish-speaking candidates and eligibility to work in New Jersey, with evening shifts and part-time availability (5–20 hours per week).
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment drug screen required
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates encouraged to apply
- Pathways for Qualification based on NJ Guidelines: RBT/BACB OR BA/psychology/education/school-related degree with supervised experience OR HS Diploma/GED with 3 years supervised experience
