Job Summary
Bilingual Behavioral Technician provides non-physical, emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Roles include implementing Individual Support Plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection and de-escalation strategies, submitting visit notes, engaging clients in activities, and attending case reviews and trainings. Requires NJ CSOC certification within 6 months, pursuing RBT certification within 6 months, and authorization to work in the U.S.; Spanish bilingual candidates encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- Pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) candidates are encouraged to apply
- Pathways for Qualification Based on New Jersey Guidelines: RBT with BACB supervision or Bachelor’s degree with supervision or HS Diploma/GED with supervision
