Bilingual Behavioral Technician (Bergen County) – $300 Sign-on Bonus

Job Summary
Provide non-physical, emotional, and behavioral support to children and families with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center. Roles include ensuring client safety and well-being, implementing strategies from each child’s Individual Support Plan, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection strategies to address behavioral concerns, submitting visit notes per guidelines, responding to crises with de-escalation and safety measures, engaging clients in activities to promote growth and awareness, attending case reviews and trainings, and adhering to agency protocols. This role supports bilingual Spanish-speaking families and offers part-time to full-time hours with evening shifts; emphasis on active listening, empathy, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S. (No visa sponsorship available)
- Must complete the NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Must be working towards receiving their Registered Behavioral Technician Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
- A pre-employment, post conditional job offer drug screen is required for this role
