Job Summary
Bilingual Behavioral Technician providing non-physical emotional and behavioral support to children with developmental and intellectual disabilities in-home, in-community, and in-center settings. Responsibilities include implementing individual support plans, conducting functional assessments (ADLs), using redirection for behavioral concerns, submitting timely visit notes, responding to crises with de-escalation and safety strategies, engaging clients in activities to promote growth, attending case reviews and trainings, and adhering to agency protocols. Candidates should be fluent in Spanish, authorized to work in the U.S., and pursuing required certifications (NJ CSOC within 6 months; RBT certification progress within 6 months). A valid NJ driver’s license and successful background checks are required. Sign-on bonus of $300 offered; opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits for full-time and part-time roles.
Required Qualifications
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- NJ CSOC Behavioral Assistant Certification within 6 months of hire
- Working towards RBT Certification within 6 months of hire
- Valid New Jersey Driver’s License
- Must pass all state and federal background checks
