Job Summary
Support the Repack Lead and Manager with daily production operations, ensuring 1st time quality, safety, and efficient cost-effective processes. Perform hands-on floor work to cover production workload, troubleshoot line equipment issues, and train new and existing employees on standard operating procedures. Coordinate inventory documentation in the ERP system and assist with personnel management, including translation support. Provide back-up supervision for production, safety, throughput, sanitation, and maintenance while the Lead is absent. Schedule Monday through Thursday, 9:30am to 8:00pm, with a starting wage of $21/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. Bilingual in Spanish and English with 6 months of manufacturing experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of experience working in a production/manufacturing environment
- Prior forklift experience
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to build and sustain positive working relationships with fellow employees
- Ability to maintain effectiveness (quality) and efficiency (productivity) in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information
