Job Summary
Delivery assistant in a two-person team responsible for delivering, placing, and assisting with basic installation of appliances and large-format items in Montreal. Responsibilities include loading/unloading, assisting with white-glove deliveries, unpacking, setting up, basic installation tasks (leveling, connecting to existing power/water), and optional add-ons (haul-away, stacking, door removal). Use of Android devices for Delivery Management System (DMS), maintaining POD/BOL documentation, and ensuring safety and property protection. Must support 18–20 deliveries per truck per day, meet KPI/QOS targets, and provide excellent bilingual customer service. Requires high school diploma, 1 year of delivery experience, ability to lift heavy loads with a coworker, and fluency in English and French. Standard shifts are 13 hours/day, 3 days/week, field-based with physical demands and variable hours.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in high-volume appliance or furniture delivery, including basic installation
- Familiarity with white glove service, including connecting and leveling washers, dryers, and other large appliances
- Comfortable lifting and maneuvering heavy appliances with a coworker using appropriate equipment
- Knowledge of safe handling procedures for large-format items and hazardous materials
- Ability to follow all safety protocols and SOPs
- Physically capable of working in various weather conditions and environments
- Willingness to wear PPE and use tools such as booties, straps
- Ability to learn and use handheld delivery tracking devices and mobile apps
- Fluent in English and French (written and spoken)
- High school diploma required
- Strong teamwork and communication skills

- Adaptability to extended hours or shifting schedules
