Job Summary

Deliver high-impact AI training sessions for student and employer cohorts, guiding learners in developing hands-on projects tied to their Work Integrated Learning placements. Facilitate synchronous virtual bootcamps that translate complex technical concepts into actionable skills for non-technical audiences while monitoring progress across diverse groups. Serve as the primary technical subject matter expert, collaborating with industry coaches to coach SMEs on translating AI concepts into measurable operational improvements and sector-specific use cases. Co-develop curriculum with the e-learning team to ensure content reflects the latest developments in automation and digital transformation, providing quality assurance on all training materials. Track learner outcomes and technical engagement metrics to support continuous improvement cycles and funder reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French (written and spoken)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in AI, data science, automation, or digital transformation, with demonstrated practical application, not theory alone
  • Minimum 3 years of experience facilitating technical AI or digital transformation training to diverse audiences including students, business leaders, and non-technical professionals
  • Proven experience delivering corporate or workforce training programs in a bilingual (English/French) context
  • Demonstrated experience translating complex AI and technology concepts into accessible, actionable learning for varied audiences
  • Solid, applied AI fluency including working knowledge of automation, prompt engineering, workflow integration, and data analytics, paired with the ability to teach these concepts accessibly to early-stage learners
  • Strong understanding of business transformation, AI adoption barriers, and sector-specific use cases for Canadian SMEs
  • Exceptional facilitation and instructional skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to design and deliver applied learning experiences that build practical, job-ready skills
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and relationship management skills
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple cohorts and delivery streams, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in Adult Education, Instructional Design, Education Technology, Business, or a related field
  • Equivalent experience as a facilitator, trainer, or adult educator

Desired Qualifications

  • A background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a technical discipline
  • Formal credentials or certifications in AI, machine learning, prompt engineering, data analytics, automation, IoT, or digital transformation
  • Instructional design, adult education, or corporate training credentials
  • Experience working with or within Canadian SMEs, priority industrial sectors (manufacturing, defence/aerospace, natural resources), or WIL programs
  • Experience developing curriculum or training content for technology-focused programs
  • Experience in a non-profit, government-funded, or national initiative environment
  • Knowledge of ICTC's priority sectors and Canada's digital economy landscape
  • Experience with LMS platforms and virtual facilitation tools
