Job Summary
Admissions Specialist at Tulsa Educare processes inquiry forms, determines eligibility, and partners with families to complete paperwork while coordinating with schools and child care partners to fill enrollment spots. Responsibilities include handling inquiries, communicating program options to families, documenting information in ChildPlus, analyzing enrollment needs, improving inquiry/eligibility processes, providing prompt responses, developing a waitlist system, managing internal transfer processes, maintaining confidentiality, and assisting with related duties. Must be bilingual (Spanish/English), possess strong organizational skills, ability to work with diverse clients, and be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of administrative assistant experience or High School Diploma/G.E.D with 5-6 years of administrative assistant experience.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Experience working with parents on applications involving income preferred
- Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards on eligibility and enrollment requirements and ChildPlus Software
