Job Summary
Provide comprehensive care for adult and pediatric patients seeking weight management through pharmacotherapy, non-surgical interventions, and diet/exercise plans. Manage peri- and post-operative care for bariatric surgery patients while collaborating with specialists in surgery, psychology, and nutrition. Contribute to personalized treatment plans using advanced technology and research. Board-Certified/Eligible Obesity Medicine Physician required with expertise in genetic, biologic, environmental, and behavioral factors. Full-time role with potential hybrid telehealth days at Beth Israel Lahey Health's Winchester Weight Management center.
Required Qualifications
- Board-Certified/Eligible in Internal Medicine, Internal Medicine sub-specialty, or Family Medicine
- Board-Certified/Eligible in Obesity Medicine
- Expertise in obesity medicine, including genetic, biologic, environmental, social, and behavioral factors
- Competence in all non-surgical obesity treatments and bariatric surgery care
