Job Summary
Bike Sales Associate talks with customers to determine needs and provide product knowledge and options for Four Mountain Sports products and services. Write detailed service orders for bike mechanics, use the POS system to manage customer profiles, process discounts and payments, and handle exchanges/returns. Maintain an organized back-stock and sales floor, assist in daily operations, and help prevent loss. Strong customer service, bike knowledge, problem-solving, and teamwork are essential to create a memorable on-mountain experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- Knowledge of bikes
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in communicating clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work in collaboration with others to achieve team goals
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner
- Ability to develop strong working relationship with those contacted in the course of work
- Ability to stand, walk or be on your feet for extended periods
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
