Job Summary
Lead small groups of all ages through bike park instruction, utilizing mountain biking expertise to teach and coach riders. Assist with daily bike park operations, including bike maintenance, rental shop procedures, and driving the bike shuttle to transport guests and equipment. Maintain a valid driver's license and approved DMV record, with a preference for candidates possessing basic bike maintenance skills and prior customer service experience. This seasonal role operates Friday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with pay at $13 per hour. Applications are accepted until Monday, August 17.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to lead small groups of all ages through bike park instruction
- Proficient mountain biker
- Ability and desire to teach and coach others
- Assist with daily bike park operations
- Bike maintenance
- Rental shop procedures
- Regularly driving the bike shuttle to transport guests and equipment
- Mechanical experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Approved DMV record
- Available for weekends and holidays as needed
- Available for varied evenings
- Available Friday through Sunday
- Available 11:00 AM-7:00 PM on Fridays
- Available 9:00 AM-6:00 PM on Saturdays and Sundays
Desired Qualifications
- Current GSMBC, IMBA, PMBIA, TerraMethod, or similar certification
- Experience instructing and guiding people in riding mountain bikes or other outdoor activities
- Prior customer service experience
