Job Summary
Develop and maintain strong customer relationships while implementing sales strategies to achieve monthly and yearly goals. Lead problem-resolution efforts regarding new orders, shipping, vendor compliance, and billing by acting as a conduit across AP, IT, and warehouse departments. Perform order management duties including reviewing orders against forecasts, monitoring fill rates, printing pick tickets, and coordinating shipment preparation. Proactively recommend actions to increase customer satisfaction and transaction profitability while tracking sales performance and industry trends. Identify process improvements in sales systems and engage in forecasting, planning, and account resource allocation. Periodically travel to accounts for meetings, sales planning, and training.
Required Qualifications
- 2 – 3 years of experience, preferably in the cycling/running industry in inside/outside sales or customer service
- Knowledge of JD Edwards and/or basic inventory and sales order management systems
- Must have intermediate/advanced experience using Windows and Microsoft Office - Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Proficient in AS400, CRM, Microsoft Word, and Excel
- Must have a strong customer focus and the ability to establish and develop strong relationships with retailers and key accounts
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
- Leadership and team player skills
- Strong organization and communication skills and display excellent attention to detail
- Have the ability to multi-task and prioritize heavy workloads
- Have the flexibility to manage changing priorities and project work in addition to day-to-day responsibilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong product and technical knowledge
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
