Job Summary
Develop and customize BigPanda platform solutions to streamline incident management and automate alerting. Design integrations between BigPanda and monitoring, alerting, and ticketing tools, ensuring seamless data flow and event correlation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define incident workflows and create custom applications that extend BigPanda functionality. Configure alerting rules, monitor system performance, and troubleshoot integration issues to maintain high availability. Implement security best practices and provide technical documentation and training for stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience as a BigPanda Developer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in working with the BigPanda platform and its APIs
- Experience in developing integrations with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Nagios, New Relic, Prometheus, PagerDuty)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Go for custom application development
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, databases, and cloud environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver projects on time
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with incident management and ITIL processes is advantageous
