Job Summary
Maintain and operate fixed grip, aerial, surface, and conveyor lifts while troubleshooting snowcat, lift, and snowmaking maintenance and repair. Perform daily visual inspections of snowmaking and cooling systems, conduct start-up checks, and operate lifts on standby for mechanical or electrical problems. Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble lift sheaves; identify tower problems and relay information to technicians. Execute safe climbing procedures, rigging methods, and assist with lift evacuations. Manage organized paperwork, checklists, and work orders. Coordinate parts and maintenance schedules, read maintenance manuals, and adhere to OSHA lockout/tag procedures. Operate snowcats for testing and perform general tasks from management as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Electrical knowledge and experience required
- High School Diploma or higher
- Possess working knowledge of chairlift functions and operations
- 1 - 3 years as a mechanically savvy lift maintenance helper or lift operator
- Knowledge of metric and standard tools
- Efficient with power tools
- Ability to work in 28-degree temperatures for extended periods of time
- Ability to communicate effectively, constructively, consistently, and openly with multiple people, verbally and in writing
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and perform all other physical requirements of the job
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs
- High level of organization
- Possess a positive attitude and a commitment to delivering great service

- Ability to work weekends and/or Holidays as required
