Job Summary
Join JPMorgan Chase as a Big Data Software Engineer III - PySpark, where you will enhance technology products by designing critical solutions for financial software applications, optimizing data collection, and supporting CFO initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Formal training or certification on system design concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Proficient in coding in back-end Python and SQL
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Overall knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
- Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)
- Understanding of Lake House architecture and ability to migrate data onto PySpark
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to cloud technologies - AWS/Public cloud strongly preferred
- Experience with Data Processing, Data Lake, and Databricks
