Job Summary
Lead the development, operation, and continuous improvement of an enterprise Data & Analytics platform. Own the roadmap for data platform capabilities, enabling data product teams, analysts, engineers, and business users to deliver high-quality data solutions at scale. Manage platform capabilities, tooling, standards, and the operating model, including cloud data platforms, data engineering environments, analytics workspaces, CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, governance, and self-service capabilities. Act as product/service owner for D&A platform services, balancing feature development, reliability, cost, and user needs. Oversee end-to-end platform operations, incidents, changes, SLAs, and operational monitoring. Lead automated provisioning for D&A workspaces, environments, data product teams, and projects; optimize Fabric capacity and Databricks usage. Develop capabilities to improve efficiency for data engineering and analytics teams (testing, CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, code quality checks, reusable templates). Ensure platform supports data governance, access control, privacy, security, lineage, metadata management, and compliance. Lead, coach, and develop a team of platform engineers, DevOps specialists, and support analysts; target users of the platform. Tenure requires 7+ years in managing or leading data/analytics platforms with strong data architecture, cloud, DevOps/DataOps, and governance experience; hybrid office in Novi, MI; flexible remote work for work that can be performed outside a location.
