Job Summary
Program Coordinator for Big Futures mentoring in a high school setting; works with students, teachers, and volunteer mentors to run a mentoring curriculum, train and screen mentors, manage match progress, organize large mentor-mentee events, and support program implementation. Responsibilities include facilitating mentor-mentee relationships, documenting support, assessing participation, coordinating match processes, and leading orientations/trainings for staff and students. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and willingness to work evenings; bilingual Spanish-English preferred. Starting salary $48k. Based in Boston, MA.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with one or more years of work experience, preferably in youth development, volunteer or program management, and/or education with high school students
- Availability to work a full-time schedule
- Access to reliable transportation
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office
- Ability to communicate with professionalism, assertiveness, and empathy to large groups and individuals verbally and in writing
