Job Summary
Lead and evolve end-to-end bidding and tendering capability to secure contracts aligned with strategic growth. Own the bid lifecycle from opportunity identification through submission and post-bid evaluation. Define and implement bid governance, templates, and tools; coordinate cross-functional teams (sales, commercial, legal); ensure high-quality, compliant proposals; translate complex solutions into client-focused language; develop pricing strategies, value propositions, and commercial models; manage vendor coordination, bid libraries, and performance metrics; provide senior management updates and support team development and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Substantial experience in a similar role managing bids/tender processes
- Familiarity with public sector procurement or frameworks
- Knowledge of bid management tools
- Bid/proposal qualification (desirable)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous learning
