Bid Writer

Bid Writer role at Victim Support Scotland, 35 hours/week, Hybrid in Edinburgh or Glasgow. You will lead research and review of funding and bidding opportunities, identify requirements, gather information from internal/external stakeholders, and produce compelling, high-quality bids. You’ll collaborate with Service Delivery teams to ensure bids are operationalised and aligned with priorities, driving continuous improvement through feedback analysis and sector knowledge. A degree or equivalent professional qualification is required; strong analytical and writing skills, understanding of trusts, statutory and lottery fundraising in the voluntary sector, experience in assembling reports with outcome-based performance measures, excellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills, and flexibility to travel as needed.
