Job Summary

Bid Writer/Technical Editor Consultant plays a pivotal role within Government Services International’s Commercial Team, drafting compelling bid narratives and proposals to complex, high-value opportunities globally. The role requires an excellent writer with commercially astute judgment, capable of rapid engagement and supporting bids on short notice. Responsibilities include drafting bid narratives, ensuring coherence and technical soundness, incorporating reviewer feedback, articulating bespoke solutions and win strategies, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality written products. The role also focuses on stakeholder engagement, maintaining partnerships, understanding the pipeline of opportunities, and driving process improvements in bid/capture activities. The position is based in London with remote arrangements considered from select countries depending on time zones and requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Minimum of six years’ experience in bid writing and delivering high quality written products
  • Experience in NATO, UN, UK, EU government proposal submissions
  • Experience working cross culturally
  • Experience writing bids focused on health, security, and the medical field is an advantage
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of French, Arabic and German is a plus
