Bid Writer / Bid Developer – Major Bids Team

Job Summary
Lead content planning and develop technical bid responses for major, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring strict compliance with ITT requirements and Turner & Townsend brand standards. Collaborate with Bid Directors, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to structure narrative flow, incorporate local knowledge and evidence, and prepare submissions for internal quality assurance. Analyze completed bids to identify high-scoring content and contribute to the continuous improvement of the in-house writing guidance library. Maintain high-quality outputs while managing multiple deadlines and adhering to SOX control responsibilities where applicable. This role supports the Major Bids Team's strategic growth across defence, infrastructure, and government sectors, requiring UK MoD Security Clearance and 60% client/site attendance.
Required Qualifications
- UK MoD Security Clearance (SC)
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple deadlines, and maintain high‐quality outputs
- Confident communicator able to build credible, collaborative relationships across the bid team and senior stakeholders
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, compelling, and accessible way
- Effective stakeholder management and strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, meet tight deadlines, and influence at senior levels
- High level of IT literacy, particularly in MS Office, with strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to hold and maintain UK MoD Security Clearance (SC)
