Job Summary
Lead end-to-end bid processes for high-value infrastructure projects, managing strategy sessions, workshops, and senior review panels to deliver compliant, winning submissions. Interpret client requirements to define win themes and value propositions while overseeing production of compelling responses that differentiate our offering. Engage with live projects to gather insight for persuasive case studies and success stories, ensuring consistency across multiple in-framework bids. This Senior Bid Manager role supports United Infrastructure's mission to deliver critical water, energy, and social infrastructure solutions across the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience in bid management within construction, engineering, or major infrastructure projects
- Possess exceptional writing skills and the ability to craft compelling, client-focused submissions
- Have a proven track record of managing end-to-end bid processes, ideally on high-value or technically complex projects
- Bring strategic thinking and the ability to articulate clear win themes and value propositions
- A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., English, marketing, engineering, or construction) or equivalent demonstrable experience
- Experience in bid management, ideally within infrastructure, utilities, or engineering services
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional certification and/or formal bid management training (e.g., APMP Practitioner or higher) is highly desirable
