Job Summary
Bid Manager responsible for coordinating the bid lifecycle across sales, presales, marketing, finance, legal, and product teams to produce high-quality bid responses on time. Responsibilities include supporting bid qualification, managing submissions, maintaining the bid library, drafting executive summaries and other sections of proposals, coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders, ensuring commercial aspects of bids are reviewed, and contributing to content reuse through bid automation. Requires strong stakeholder engagement, clear written and verbal communication, ability to work under deadlines, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com, and familiarity with bid tools such as Loopio. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected. Required Qualifications
- Around 3+ years’ experience in bid management, ideally supporting opportunities from qualification through to submission and handover
- Background in software solutions and/or services is highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including proposal writing and presentations
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders when required, with support and guidance
- Proactive, organised, and motivated, with a willingness to learn and develop
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com
- Exposure to bid automation tools (e.g. Loopio) is advantageous but not essential
