Job Summary
Lead the full bid development process for modular solutions opportunities from RFQ/RFP receipt through final submission, including bid document preparation, scope development, cost modeling, and proposal packaging. Own the preparation and coordination of project costing for modular manufacturing bids by developing material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor inputs while validating assumptions against manufacturing capabilities and production capacity. Coordinate internal bid reviews with Sales, Engineering, Design, Procurement, Manufacturing, Project Execution, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure proposals are technically sound, commercially aligned, and executable within schedule requirements. Develop standardized proposal templates, maintain bid libraries, and lead post-bid reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future pricing accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in estimating, bid management, proposal management, project controls, manufacturing, construction, or modular solutions
- Experience preparing technical and commercial bid packages for construction, manufacturing, MEP, data center, industrial, or modular projects
- Strong understanding of cost development, labor estimating, material takeoffs, vendor pricing, and manufacturing production assumptions
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, scopes of work, schedules, and contract documents
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and bid/proposal management tools
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids, deadlines, and cross-functional inputs simultaneously
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in modular manufacturing, prefabrication, MEP systems, data centers, industrial construction, or mission-critical environments
- Familiarity with manufacturing labor models, production line planning, cycle times, throughput, and shop capacity planning
- Experience developing proposals for HACs, skids, electrical rooms, mechanical modules, cooling systems, power distribution systems, or other modular infrastructure
- Understanding of commercial risk, contract terms, pricing strategy, margin development, and executive bid reviews
- Experience with ERP, estimating software, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or Power BI
