Job Summary
Manage Federal project pursuits by collaborating with proposal managers, estimators, and business development leaders to identify opportunities and coordinate partnership teams. Develop pursuit timelines and deliverables while reviewing design schedules to identify cost savings through material adjustments or alternative construction methods. Work with design managers to refine technical solutions and develop client management strategies that align with contract specifications and owner needs. Secure final bid prices by coordinating with engineers and estimators, then support the hand-off to construction teams to ensure proper execution of plans.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of Federal construction industry experience related to project pursuits (i.e DOD, NAVFAC, USACE, AFICC), including estimating, project management or business development
- Deep Understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and RFP processes
- Understands constructability
- Able to identify and interpret risk strategies
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience leading partnering and teaming agreements
- Understanding of cost estimating practices, development and implementation
- Strong communication and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
