Job Summary
Conduct safety inspections and perform repairs on bicycles in the shop and field, including diagnosing E-bike issues using software tools. Repair bikes to company specifications, manage inventory for parts and tools, and maintain accurate service records for all completed repairs. Perform basic maintenance on cargo bikes and handle public interactions professionally while riding an E-bike in busy urban environments. Work primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure to inclement weather, managing a repair schedule and adhering to 32-hour weekly shifts including nights and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Night and Weekend availability
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to speak clearly
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to stand or sit for several hours at a time
- Excitement, interest in bike share, and sense of humor
