Job Summary
Inspect and evaluate electric bicycles for safety, function, and cleanliness. Prioritize and lead e-bike repairs in the shop to ensure bikes are returned to operation quickly. Oversee in-field inspection maintenance during operation season and lead off-season and mid-season bike overhauls. Perform new bike assembly and assist with training other staff. Collect repair data to achieve continuous improvement in fleet reliability. Maintain clean tools and shop workspace while managing inventory of parts. Perform BCycle Tech duties in the field, including balancing systems, battery swaps, and event support. Work under the guidance of the Lead Mechanic and Operations Manager.

- Ability to bend, stoop, and lift materials that weigh up to 65 pounds

- Ability to work outdoors in various temperatures including rain, extreme cold and heat conditions
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment
- Ability to work remotely in a company vehicle
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to speak clearly
- Ability to understand the speech of another person
- Ability to see details of objects that are less than a few feet away
- Ability to stand or sit for several hours straight at a time
