Job Summary

Install, diagnose problems, and perform service repairs on card access, security camera systems, and other related building system products at customer sites. Follow troubleshooting procedures and technical manuals to repair equipment while reading blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and operational product manuals. Exhibit effective customer service skills by communicating with staff and customers to ensure satisfaction, completing service acknowledgements on company software and obtaining customer signatures. Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely responses and adhere to safety guidelines while performing physical labor involving equipment up to 70 lbs. Work flexible hours including weekends and remain available for on-call emergency service.

Required Qualifications

  • BICSI TECH
  • Experience installing, inspecting, repairing, and programming card access and CCTV
  • Knowledge of test equipment, multi-meter, digital analyzer, and commissioning devices
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult position such as climbing ladders, scaffolding and high aerial lift equipment up to 40 feet
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service
  • Maintain truck inventory to ensure timely response to customer needs
  • Ability to adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Positive attitude
  • An ability to learn quickly
  • Capable of performing physical labor to include carrying and moving equipment and tools up to 50-70 lbs
  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Driving record that meets company requirements
