Job Summary
Review incoming firm-wide attorney, paralegal, and business professional conflict check submission forms, create lateral conflict folders, and update tracking spreadsheets. Maintain accurate status records for partner candidates, schedule internal meetings, and prepare engagement letters for onboarding lateral partners. Obtain pre-approvals for lateral onboarding, communicate with recruiting and HR, run conflict reports, and clear contract attorneys as needed. Provide training to new hires on various systems, conduct research on corporate affiliations, and assist with ethical screen database cleanups. Understand the American Bar Association Model Rules of Professional Conduct across all jurisdictions and assist with policy drafting cycles.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years direct applicable years' experience (e.g., business intake and conflicts, legal or professional services)
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
- Proficiency in iManage
- Proficiency in other firm applications
- Availability to work overtime, as required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Paralegal certificate
- Experience working in a law firm or other professional services environment
