Job Summary
Research academic disciplines to discover their roots in creational design and develop strategies to restore them. Review competitor materials from Christian and non-Christian publishers to formulate worldview formation strategies. Work with writers, instructional designers, and editors to plan, write, and revise objectives, instructional materials, and assessments supporting BJU Press's biblical mandate. Meet weekly with department management to plan projects and regularly with teams to evaluate progress and ensure accountability for implementing the biblical worldview shaping vision.
Required Qualifications
- Background in the field of education
- Master's degree in biblical or theological studies
- 2+ years of experience in a relevant discipline/field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Born-again Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
- Agreement with and affirmation of the Bob Jones University creed, mission, and core biblical doctrines
- Conservative lifestyle
- Support for the group's positions on issues such as beverage alcohol, addictive substances, creation, marriage, human sexuality, and the sanctity of life
- Active membership in a local Bible-believing church which holds orthodox theology
- Commitment to providing students an excellent, worldclass education from a biblical worldview
