BI Support Specialist, MPACT

Job Summary
BI Support Specialist provides technical assistance, troubleshooting, and maintenance for BI tools and applications to ensure uninterrupted access and reliability. Responsibilities include monitoring BI system performance, maintaining data sources, validating data integrity, documenting technical specifications and user guides, and conducting training for users. The role involves customer interactions via phone, email, chat, or in-person; handling escalations with courtesy and efficiency; collaborating with IT, data engineering, sales, and marketing to support BI initiatives; and delivering custom solutions for the MPact Suite while ensuring data accuracy, security, and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business Analytics, or related field; or 4+ years of experience in BI/Data Analytics
- SQL query skills
- Experience with SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS)
- Relational database management systems (RDBMS) understanding
- Familiarity with cloud-based software solutions
- Experience with McLeod Software LoadMaster and PowerBroker platforms (preferred)
- Experience in trucking/transportation industry (preferred)
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- MS-300 experience a plus
- Ability to learn internal software and systems
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to manage and prioritize competing priorities and projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience documenting customer interactions and maintaining CRM records
- Experience conducting training/workshops for users
- Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security practices
- Experience collaborating with IT, data engineering, sales, and marketing
