Job Summary
Build and maintain dashboards used by the business, writing SQL queries to pull and explore data with guidance from senior analysts. Support ad-hoc data requests and reporting, shadow BI analysts to learn workflows and stakeholder communication, and contribute to data quality checks and reporting health monitoring. Document processes and findings clearly while practicing clear written communication of data findings to non-technical audiences. This hands-on internship in China offers direct mentorship and exposure to Data Engineering and Machine Learning teams, with a strong potential for full-time conversion.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Basic SQL knowledge (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY, simple filtering)
- Comfortable working in Excel
- Strong curiosity and a genuine willingness to learn
- Clear written and verbal communication
Desired Qualifications
- exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or any BI tool through coursework or personal projects
- basic Python (pandas, scripting)
- a prior internship in data, analytics, or BI
- any project demonstrating data analysis (school, Kaggle, personal)
- interest in ad tech or mobile gaming
