Job Summary
BI Engineer I responsible for bridging Operations, Business Technology, and Client Management through data-driven analysis. Manage internal operational applications, oversee scheduling and automation of tasks, administer the secure SFTP portal, maintain BI dashboards and reports (Looker and Power BI), ensure data integrity across systems, and collaborate with IT to support data pulls and infrastructure. Perform QA on automated reports, identify operational trends, and propose improvements to enhance workflow efficiency and secure business information.
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years of professional experience in a data-oriented/IT/Business Technology role or a BS in a technical/analytical discipline
- Hands-on experience with data imports/exports, file formatting, and basic data cleansing
- Familiarity with SFTP protocols and secure file sharing
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to collaborate跨 internal departments and external client teams
- Nice-to-Haves: BI tools (Looker, Power BI); relational databases/cloud data warehouses (MySQL, Snowflake, Databricks) and healthcare industry familiarity
