Job Summary
Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics solutions aligned to business requirements using shared semantic layers and governed datasets. Deliver high-quality BI outputs by applying best practices in data visualization, storytelling, and accessibility while optimizing for performance and scalability. Validate data accuracy, ensure compliance with security standards, and maintain clear documentation for all models and reports. Work closely with business stakeholders, Data Engineering, and Data Science teams to clarify requirements, reduce technical debt, and support the visualization of advanced analytics. Continuously develop BI and data modeling skills, adopt new tools, and share knowledge within the team to improve reliability and trust in BI outputs across the JD Group.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a Business Intelligence role
- Hands-on experience with modern BI tools, particularly Power BI and/or Looker
- Solid working knowledge of SQL and analytics data modelling concepts
- Experience building dashboards and reports on shared semantic layers or curated datasets
- Strong understanding of data visualisation best practices and UX principles
- Experience working with governed data and enterprise BI standards
- Ability to deliver well-scoped BI work independently and to a high standard
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and quality
