Job Summary
Experienced BI Developer at Etraveli Group, Athens-based role focused on building reliable analytics solutions, dashboards, and data models using Qlik Sense and Looker; responsibilities include developing BI applications, designing scalable ETL/data models, writing advanced SQL, collaborating with stakeholders to translate business questions into KPIs, mentoring junior BI developers, and contributing to BI tooling and processes with a hybrid work arrangement in Greece.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar)
- Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Sense or Looker
- Expert-level SQL skills, including query optimization and complex transformations
- Experience or exposure to data transformation tools such as dbt and/or platforms like Dremio is a plus
- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows
- Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency is highly valued
- Strong communication skills in English
- Structured, analytical, and detail-oriented approach to problem solving
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity and willingness to understand complex and evolving data environments
- Collaborative mindset with a proactive attitude toward learning and improvement
- Around 4 years of experience in BI development, data modeling, or analytics engineering
