Job Summary
BI Developer / Data Analyst to build and maintain SQL- and DAX-driven BI datasets, design semantic data models (fact/dimension tables, star schemas), publish Power BI reports and datasets in Fabric workspaces, create optimized DAX measures, troubleshoot data refreshes and queries, ingest/transform data from multiple sources with Power Query and SQL, and improve visualizations for executive decision-making. Must collaborate across cross-functional teams and translate business questions into actionable BI solutions; 3–5 years of BI development and data analytics experience; strong SQL and DAX, dimensional modeling fundamentals, Power BI Desktop, Power Query, and SSMS proficiency; ability to manage multiple stakeholders and align analytics with business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in BI development and data analytics
- Strong SQL and DAX skills
- Hands-on experience with Power BI Desktop
- Power Query for data ingestion and transformation
- Ability to use SSMS (or other tools) to extract and validate data
- Strong business acumen and ability to connect analytics to business decisions
