BI Developer - Assistant Vice President

Job Summary
Senior BI Developer tasked with leading end-to-end design, development, and deployment of robust BI solutions in the banking domain, emphasizing Tableau-based dashboards, data visualization and performance optimization. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, data source identification, data modeling, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing support; optimizing dashboard performance; managing server/cloud environments; maintaining data connections; exploring GenAI/LLMs to accelerate development; risk and compliance awareness; mentoring junior analysts; and advising stakeholders on data-driven solutions. Requires strong analytics, SQL, Tableau proficiency, experience with data warehousing/cloud data platforms, and a track record of delivering scalable BI projects; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 8+ years of experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience in application development and business intelligence
- Proven experience as a BI Developer with Tableau, SQL, data modeling, and data visualization
- Experience in data preparation and connecting to various data sources (SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud data platforms)
- Experience with Python or R for analytics
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git/GitHub
- Exposure to Generative AI (GenAI) or Large Language Models (LLMs) in a development context
- Knowledge of banking domain, particularly Capital Markets and Risk Management (advantageous)
