BI Analytics Engineer (dbt & BigQuery Specialist)

Job Summary
BI Analytics Engineer to own the dbt project and BigQuery warehouse; drive platform stewardship, warehouse optimization (partitioning, clustering, cost management), and build actionable Looker Studio dashboards. Collaborate with department leads to translate KPIs into precise technical requirements, uphold engineering standards (Git, CI/CD), refactor legacy data models, and ensure scalable, well-documented dbt models. Requires deep dbt experience, strong SQL for BigQuery, Looker Studio dashboards, and effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering or BI role
- Expert-level SQL and experience with Google BigQuery
- Hands-on experience managing dbt in production
- Proficiency in Looker Studio (Looker/LookML a plus)
- Git/Version Control experience is a must
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
